It is the end of the year and I was going to write something positive but no, but no, something messed up had to happen and ruin my day. In a land far far away, known as the land of the pure aka Pakistan former prime minister Benazir Bhutto. For once can’t we have ‘normal’ leaders and ‘normal’ systems in the Muslim world. I sincerely hope and pray that law and order is restored to Pakistan. Its a country which has been alternating between dictatorship and “democracy” even decade or so, sort of like musical chairs. What is going on in Pakistan can only be described as madness. I mean you see people on TV torching buses, cars and trains in their own country! Who is what to be hurt by this? Pakistanis themselves and as Muslims we are supposed to abstain from senseless violence.

What is happening is Pakistan is very difficult to comprehend.
Its difficult.
But lets not forget the poor, the weak, the good people. May Allah protect them from oppression and injustice.
So many people died for Pakistan, for this country to be.
Indeed Allah is best disposer of our affairs and he brings good from all things.
Peace be upon you also dontbesad, Ameen to your dua. Just because so many people died for Pakistan and it was supposed to a Muslim welfare state which did not come to be. 😦
Pakistan is a relatively new country and very few countries escape their growth pains. What is happening there today will not always be the case.
Paul, I hope and pray that this is the case and that things will be all right. You are correct that Pakistan is only 60 years old so it may take them some time to forge a sense of nationhood.
and to top it all off, while at someone’s house, watching said news a woman in our company remarked “oh you can’t do anything in Australia, in Pakistan you can say and do what ever you like”
swear to God, the tele was only showing news live from Pakistan about the burnings and the craziness.
Yeah it can be pretty retard at times. 😦
